The board's lifecycle

The TFN board consists of 8 directors whose terms are staggered.  Directors normally each serve a three-year term.  Every year, at the AGM, the seats of 3 directors come up for election (only 2 seats every third year).  See how to run for the board.  Directors are free to run for re-election.

At some AGMs, the board has additional vacant seats.  In that case, the AGM needs to also fill seats for shorter terms (1 or 2 years).  Each candidate runs for a specific term.

Between AGMs, the board has the power to appoint more directors, to fill vacant seats.  But this is rarely done.
